Electronic
Form Cost Benefit Analysis
The first graph below demonstrates the
difference between the cost of having preprinted forms designed,
printed, and warehoused, and having electronic forms developed and
installed on a computer system. This
credit union, by processing all their loans manually, has been
losing out on much of their potential savings, as these two graphs
illustrate. As you can see, the potential savings are well over 2/3
of their current expenditures.
The second graph demonstrates another
unexpected pocket of savings. By using electronic forms instead of
preprinted paper forms, the labor time is cut roughly in half.
This means the credit union could be processing nearly twice as
many loans in the same amount of time. |
