Stock Types
White Gloss: For lustrous
appearance. Used when it is not necessary to write or type on the
label. Two-year indoor life.
White Matte: Excellent for labels to be written on or
typed on. Correctability may be limited on some typewriters.
Two-year indoor life.
White EDP Gloss: Gives the same lustrous appearance as
White Gloss, but is designed for use with typewriters and non-laser
computer printers. Correctability may be limited on some
typewriters. Two-year indoor life.

Fluorescent: A bright DayglowTM
matte paper available in red, orange, chartreuse, pink and green.
Printing in black is recommended. Two-year indoor life.
Foil: Provides a metallic appearance. Available in
shiny or dull in gold and silver. Two-year indoor life.
White Vinyl: Durable, weather-resistant and can be used
indoors as well as in some harsh environments. Two or three year
indoor life.
Clear Vinyl: A durable and weather-resistant material
that appears nearly clear when applied. We recommend printing white
ink behind the image area for great readability. Adhesive is
available on either the front (face) or the back, depending on the
viewing direction. Two or three-year indoor life.
Static Cling Vinyl: This clear or white vinyl has a
static charge that allows it to stick without adhesive to most
smooth, clean surfaces such as glass, plastic or baked enamel
finishes. Leaves the surface clean when removed or repositioned.
Clear Static Cling stock is available with static on the front
(face) or back. White Static Cling stock is available with static on
the back.
Polyester: A highly durable synthetic film used
primarily for outdoor applications involving high levels of abrasion
or abuse such as product identification. Polyester will stand up
longer in moist environments and is resistent to most oils and
solvents. For added durability we laminate some polyester decals at
no additional charge. Available in silver and gold. Fluorescent inks
not available. Two or three-year outdoor life.
Thermal: Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal stocks are
guaranteed to be compatible with leading printers and scales. Stock
activates at 185ºF. The ultra-smooth surface and special
adhesives allow excellent scanning and instant adherence to
corrugated boxes and shrink-wrap film.
Piggyback: These labels are on two liners so the top
label can be removed and re-applied to another surface. Piggyback
labels are available in blanks for peel-off address labels or
custom-printed. Ask for details and prices. Also available in the
popular "IRS size".
Clear Polystyrene: A paper like 2-mil optically clear
film stock with a one-year indoor life.

Adhesives at Work Permanent
adhesive is supplied unless you request otherwise. This is a
general purpose adhesive appropriate for most applications.
Removable adhesive will allow the label to be taken off
once it is applied without leaving pieces of the label behind. Note,
however, that a label will become permanent over time and with
exposure to weather.
Please note: Some surfaces such as wood, silk and
suede, may be damaged by any adhesive. Always test a sample label
before applying.
Wide-temperature adhesive is designed to stick in very
cold (to -65ºF) and very hot (to 150ºF) temperatures. This
adhesive becomes permanent after 24 hours and will adhere to vinyl
surfaces.
Opaque adhesive obscures the application surface so it
doesn't "show through" the label stock. This is useful if
you are using a label to cover erroneous or outdated information, or
if the surface color could affect the appearance of the label. The
opaque adhesive might affect the appearance of ink color.
