Printer Warranty: Epson 2-year parts and labor. If a printer requires repair it may be returned to an Epson repair facility - Credit Union pays for the shipping both ways. No charge for the repair if less than 2 years old. After 2 years, the repair pricing is on a case-by-case basis. Paper supplies must come from an authorized Epson paper distributor. If a printer is returned for repair and it's determined that the paper caused the repair problem and the paper was not supplied by an authorized Epson paper distributor, the Credit Union will be billed for the repair or printhead replacement.
Installation: Written installation instructions are available for Credit Unions. The Credit Union may setup the printers on their own or through a 3rd party consultant. A good working knowledge of UNIX and the Ultrafis system is required to complete setup. If the Credit Union requires additional help with installation, Landmark staff is available for a flat fee of $250.00, which includes a guarantee to get your printer up and running.
Maintenance: If a printer fails and needs to be returned, we can send you a replacement printer the same day (as long as the phone call is received by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time). The Credit Union will install the replacement unit and ship the failed unit back to Landmark, using Landmark supplied packaging and shipping labels. Landmark will pay for the overnight shipping of the replacement unit; the Credit Union will pay for the shipping costs of the broken printer both ways. Coverage extends for the two-year warranty period. After the two-year warranty period expires, the Credit Union will pay for the cost of repair for the failed unit including freight costs.
The cost of the maintenance program is $119.00 per printer for the full 2-year warranty period. After the warranty period expires, the cost is $85.00 per printer per year. The maximum charge that will apply for repair of an out of warranty printer is $445.00 for a complete printer re-build. Most repair costs will be less and we will call you with an estimate for repair.
Backup Printer: An alternative to the maintenance program is to purchase a backup printer that you can use in case a printer fails and has to be returned for repair.
