Defender RFID Shield Envelopes
Stop Identity Thieves from stealing personal identity information. RFID Shield DEFENDER Envelopes are FIPS 201 certified (Federal Information Processing Standard). DEFENDER Envelopes protect against unauthorized RFID readers skimming sensitive personal information.
EMV Chip card technology is gaining momentum in the United States. The technology is being used in Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Passports, Employee ID’s, Access Control Cards and Drivers Licenses. While this new technology is designed to make the payment process more secure than traditional Magnetic Stripe Cards, Identity Thieves have already found ways to skim personal information from these cards. Identity Thieves can purchase an RFID Reader for as little as $8. RFID Readers are small enough to fit in a pocket. Consumers can be electronically pickpocketed by somebody walking past them with an RFID Reader in their pocket and the consumer won’t even know!
DEFENDER is a new patent-pending technology with a multi-ply laminate that contains a security barrier to prevent RFID detection at 13.56MHz and in the 860-980 MHz range. It limits the flow of RF energy between the reader and the smart card or other RFID device.
In 2005, the launch of contactless payments across North America began in earnest. Leading banks are issuing millions of contactless credit and debit cards to consumers, and leading retailers are installing contactless readers that can accept contactless payment and are integrated with point-of-sale (POS) systems. While contactless payment solutions offer many advantages to all the stakeholders (Credit Card Companies, Banks and Credit Unions, Federal Government and Consumers) all parties need to be aware as to how easy it is for Identity thieves with RFID readers to capture and skim personal information. The best defense against this practice is for the consumer to place the contactless card in a DEFENDER envelope that will shield the private information from being stolen by identity thieves.
Contactless smart chip technology relies on a secure microcontroller or equivalent intelligence, internal memory, and a small antenna embedded in a device that communicates with a reader through a contactless radio frequency (RF) interface. This technology is used in a wide range of applications. From delivering fast, secure transactions as in transit fare payment cards to protecting personal information in government and corporate identification cards, electronic passports and visas, contactless smart chip technology is being leveraged to improve speed, convenience and security.
Contactless payments is one application of contactless smart chip technology. Contactless payments are simply payment transactions that require no physical connection between the consumer payment device and the physical POS terminal.

Pin Mailers
Pin mailers can be sent one of 2 ways;
- Traditional letter style with window envelope (blue or black security tint background in the envelope to prevent someone from viewing the contents)
- Pressure Seal Style where the letter/paper is printed with the security information and the form is sealed using a pressure seal machine (no envelope required).
We use many of the same security features used on Cashier’s Checks for Pin Mailers.
Introducing a new, high security solution for the mailing and distribution of confidential account information. PinSeal is Tamper Proof and is available on Cut Sheet Forms and Pressure Seal Self Mailers. It is compatible with all pressure seal folder/sealers.
Pinseal is perfect for distribution of the following:
- P.I.N. Numbers
- Account Numbers
- Passwords
- Member Login Information
- Raffle/Lottery Style Direct Mail
Here is how PinSeal works;
- First the Form/Mailer is constructed with a Poly Patch on one side and a Peel Back Perforation on the other.
- Next a “Reverse Font” is downloaded and installed on your laser printer.
- Confidential Information is printed on the Form/Mailer.
- Form is then folded/sealed on a Pressure Seal Machine and mailed to member/customer.
- Form is opened and Perforations Removed, revealing the confidential information.
Now you have a high security solution for sending out confidential information.
